Can lock Volume Envelope Points to Event?

So... I am in the final stages of an Independent. Adding my music scores... and of course a Volume Envelope to my 'Music' track so I can adjust points of volume for effect, dialog, ect. HOWEVER... after making all this points I always see a little tiny cut I want to make in the video... and when I do, then ripple the video forward... ALL the point positions don't move along with the music track and have to re-place them all again!... Oh boy... is there any way to 'lock' Envelope points to an event so if it is moved the points stay with it?

Is your Ripple mode set to "All Tracks, Markers & Regions"?

Along with Mike's tip, have you tried

There it is...

A button right on the main toolbar... "Lock Envelopes to Events" Sheesh... been using Vegas for over a year now and didn't even know it... too busy trying to get projects done instead of reading the manual... THANK you Graham.

No Carl - sorry .. . But being a professional ceramicist and production potter, I would early love to travel Japan.
