I have a friend who says hes edited nothing but Mpeg in Vegas & has never had a problem.
In fact, Im only having a problem with this one file. so, I dunno :( |
Use MPEG Streamclip to export an .avi file.

No idea what you just said lol
ULTRA newb here. |
Use MPEG Video Wizard to open your 'stubborn' file, then save it as a new MPEG file. This will open in Vegas, guaranteed.
|
Where do I get that program?
Will it be 100% quality? For Audio & video? |

If you're doing simple cuts, there will be no recompression in VideoWizard. However, there will be recompression in Vegas. If you're concerned about that, just play DVD through your camcorder & capture DV that way, like others have suggested. |
