Vegas and QuickTime uncompressed
 
Vegas 7e does not open a Quicktime .mov (uncompressed) clip. Do I need QuickTime Pro?

No, you don't need QT Pro but you do need the authoring components for Quicktime. Many people only install the player, which doesn't give Vegas the tools it needs.
