Anyway to copy a vegas 7 timeline into vegas 6?
 

my system is having major issues using cineform files with vegas 7 but works in vegas 6 so I was wondering if there was anyway to do editing in 7 with the gearshift proxies and then swap out and copy the whole final project into vegas 6 for a final render from and cineform avis?

You cannot open a project saved in Vegas 7 in Vegas 6. There are a few things you can attempt to go backwards but I don't think you'd be happy. Pick one or the other and stick with it.

to the best of my knowledge you can not swap down only up. So you can't take a Vegas 6 project and go to 5 for exaple. You can take a V5 and go to 6 or 7. I know you can't take a Vegas 7 SD project and go to V6 with it so I'll assume you can't do it with the HDV footage either.

if it's a cuts-only timeline with no titles, you can export an EDL, and that will open in Vegas 6, but it's for rough work only.
Better to find the reason for the issues in Vegas 7. have you installed .Net 2?

What is net2? I am still very slowly working on the cineform issue one email response per day from them, and so far nothing has helped, once I install cineform it wont let me open vegas, I have to remove it from windows control panel and than vegas 7 opens fine but the cineform files only open as audio no video, even though they work fine on another system, and they will at least open in vegas 6.
