Keyboard editing?

I would like to edit using keyboard more than tiresome mousing around... However, Premiere seems to be very mouse-centered.

Is there a way to actually select a clip without clicking it without a mouse?
And the second thing - how do I close the Trim window via keyboard?

I've searched Help and manual but it wasn't very helpful. I wonder if such a simple thing is something Premiere cannot do.
