I´m in PAL-land (Spain) and the analog outputs of my GL2 showed just fine on the PAL TVs, for a while. One day I lost the color on the analog outputs, and haven´t recovered it yet. Firewire is fine, and the viewfinder and LCD are also fine, but for some reason I´ve lost the color on both S-video and composite outputs. Could this be a NTSC/PAL thing catching up with me? Has this happened to anyone? Thanks!

So you are using the NTSC GL2 is PAL country.

Do you plug the cam straight into your multi-system TV or VCR? Could also be the TV or VCR that has a problem.

You've checked the cam to see if isn't set to B&W, I presume?Has this happened to anyone? Not to me.

Thanks for the reply and suggestions.

Yeah - not what I intended, but I´m stuck here for a while.

I´m plugging the camera straight into a PAL TV which has no indication that it is multisystem. It´s a Sony triniton about 5 years old. The picture was (surprisingly) fine until somehow the color disappeared. I´ve tried it on another Sony TV, with the same result, so I´m thinking it´s either the cam or something with Sony TVs.

I don´t believe the cam is in B&W - the VF shows color and so does the firewire output.
