The Wire. Strong story. Huge arc. Characters you care about.

I've never watched any of those, except for a few episodes of Oz years ago. Can I vote for Highlander instead?

first season of six feet was fantastic... Saw one episode of Carnivale - kinda sucked.
Never really watched Sopranos (first episode- waiting to see them in order).
Sex in the City was good but got stupid...

There's a new HBO series about six eps in called "Deadwood". It's a western. Pretty good so far. The USA Today wrote it up this week because of its liberal use of F-bombs and other swears.

I watch a little sports, The Sopranos and, believe it or not, American Idol. Nothing else. This years Sopranos started out poorly but seems to be improving.

My wife watched Six Feet Under till this year and like Carnivale.

One of my sons likes 24 and Carnivale.

I'm a big fan of "24" too. It satisfies the entertainment factor by weight alone. There is always some twist and turn happening, no matter how unlikely.

You mean current serious'?

24 and Enterprise. But the old ones are always best.
