HELP! 24/25p conversion

hi,
i really have problems convertin my 5d footage to 25p(pal-country).

Is it possible to render my edited video to 30p and then convert the
complete project to 25p using any timeremapping method?
i tried using AE, with this method:
VIDEO COPILOT | After Effects Tutorials & Post Production Tools

but the results were horrible, it didnt recognize my cuts and weird transitions
and artefacts appeared...

i definetly wanna use the 5d on my next project, but if i need to convert
all the single files in advance to 25p before editing, it doesnt make sense to me.
this would take too much time. But if there is a possibility to convert the
complete edited 30p project to 25p afterwords, that would be perfect.

here is a testfile in 720 / 30p:
RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

i would really appreciate if someone can convert it to 25p to show that it works
and how it looks.
a windows workflow would be good.
i use vegas for editing and would like to use afereffetcs for time remapping.

thanks...

If you need to convert to a different frame rate than what the source is its always better
to convert the footage prior to any other adjustments.... or your just asking for issues
that will affect the output..

I have similar ussue, convert it prior to editing in Compressor to 25, using frame controls in compressor somewhat helps, have not figured out best settings yet.

If anyone has done so, would appreciate sharing it.
