no rebates to PO boxes
 

I would like to buy an Optura Xi, but the rebate will not be honored to PO boxes. I live in a small town where there is no mail delivery to physical addresses, so all I have is a PO box. Anyone heard of a way around this?

Do you have a trusted relative elsewhere (hopefully with the same last name) who can receive it for you?

I tried using my sister's address (different last name) last time on a Western Digital rebate. It did not work. The fine print says they reserve the right to substantiate information. My hunch is 'they' will use any excuse to disqualify the rebate.

Anyone know a way to talk to Canon Sales direct, to see if they have an official position on cases like this? I would hope they would not let the fine print stand in the way of making a sale.

Just a reminder that the rebate expires tomorrow, June 30th for purchases and then July 31st 2004 to have it mailed in.
