Sony EIP Latitude. Canon ?

i am very excited with the release of HV20 and have only done research on sony
products and was eagerly awaiting the HC7 as my personal filmmaking device.

sony documentation says it achieves wider dynamic range with EIP technology.
i just want to know how canon compares i.e. Canon HV10 & Sony HC3.

thanks to progressive shooting need not wait long hours of conversion from interlace that means loss of resolution.

thank you Canon! thank you!!!

Edit: where do i find (bad google results) documentation of latitude in dB? i.e. could the HV10 reach 56dB?
