Having trouble downconverting with HDLink

I have a progressive 1920x1080 Cineform file that was exported out of Vegas 9.0a.

I bring the file into HD link using the select function in the Convert tab. I set my preferences to resize the file to NTSC 16:9. I click on start and a little red X appears to the left of the file name. The progress bar never moves and the computer does not show any CPU use.

Am I missing something here?

Thank you, Marc

I figured out the problem. I did not have the "use capture location for converted files" checked. It works now.

Another question. Can I use HDLink to deinterlace during downconversions?

Yes it can. There is a check box you need select and choose progressive as the frame type.
