FirstLight monitor different from Ppro monitor

Color in FirstLight is different than what I see on the Program monitor in Ppro. No effects are applied to the clip. What's going on?

In the attachment, FirstLight is on the bottom, and Ppro program monitor is on the top. You can tell the Ppro monitor is warmer while FirstLight has a yellow? tinge to it.

Re: FirstLight monitor different from Ppro monitor

You are using a Mac and it will more often than not get the gamma wrong. Under FirstLight using the external monitoring option, that is the most accurate is it uses OpenGL, rather than the gamma favor of the month for each new QuickTime update.

Re: FirstLight monitor different from Ppro monitor

Sorry to revive an older thread—

What is the monitoring recommendation currently? When I use the external monitor option, I'm still getting the same drastic gamma shift. I see no option in Ppro to enable OpenGL either.

Example attached...
