nanoFlash File Recovery at DVinfo.net

Hello Everyone,

We are very pleased to announce that we have been working with ProSoft Engineering over the last 8 Months to develop a File Recovery tool that can possibly recover nanoFlash, nano3D or Flash XDR files, in the misfortunate event of a Accidental Formating. Granted nothing is ever guaranteed, but with our internal testing this tool has worked very well and has recovered many files, wether it be MOV or Quicktime, MXF or MPG.

There is also a new function that has been added, which is Compact Flash card testing, Which is an industry first. Which has worked very well to help identify cards that are working intermittently, or that have failed in the field. Granted this is a complicated process and nothing is ever full prove, but we feel this is step in the right direction to ensure that all customers should never have to deal with field failures. ProSoft has Engineered two different methods for testing Compact Flash cards, one of which is by doing constant sequential reads and writes across the card, to verify that the card never stops communicating, and the other involves a very advanced algorithm (Random test). Both have proven in the past to identify different types of failures.
