Lynda now has FCPX Training

I just logged in today and saw that Lynda now has FCPX training. It's over 5 hours of information. I haven't watched any of it yet, but Lynda does not screw around. They put out very useful videos. I look forward to diving into this stuff this evening.

Any input on how good these are would be greatly appreciated. I remember watching the old FCP-tuts from Lynda when Larry Jordan did them.

Re: Lynda now has FCPX Training

Frankly when Larry Jordan split from Lynda it was a big loss for subscribers to Lynda.

The Larry Jordan series on FCP is better than the switching to FCPX from FCP7 currently available.

But if you already are a subscriber to Lynda it is essentially free and there are more FCPX tuts coming to Lynda soon. Motion 5 tuts are due out early next month. I am a yearly subscriber, have been for years, Lynda is a great resource, check out all the tutorials available..

Re: Lynda now has FCPX Training

I just watched about 50% of the videos in the tutorial. It had a lot of information that simplified my current workflow. I definitely learned some things. This particular video set is fairly basic, but they are sure to come out with more advanced videos soon. Especially as Apple upgrades the software.

Re: Lynda now has FCPX Training

Larry Jordan is who taught me FCP to begin with (on Lynda of course). When FCPX was released I bought his 11 hour training series the same day. I get through 2-3 chapters a night now and am about 80% done.

I'm still a member over at Lynda so I'll take a look at what they have to offer. Thanks for the heads up about it- I was about to cancel my membership shortly.
