This is an incomplete answer as I use EdiusPro v4.03, not the Broadcast version. However, with ProCoderExpress which comes with Edius, I have the option to output to Windows Media HD 1080i or 720p NTSC (29.97) or to PAL formats. Or I can output to Canopus HQ 1080i NTSC or to a PAL format.

I believe that if you have other codecs installed, PCE should recognise these and add them to your potential output formats. It might be worth asking this question on the Canopus forum for a definitive reply.

Thanks David, I didn't know there was a canopus forum. I'll repost there.
