BR-HD50 HDMI out to Aja IOHD HDMI in

Does anyone know if itīs possible to take HDV 720p out from HDMI and take in via Aja IOHD as ProRes422?
I have tried but with no luck so far. Then this question popped out in my head. Maybe itīs not possible due to some inompatibility.

Yes, it's possible. I work at a news station and this is one way we get our footage captured. The IOHD is optimized to capture in the Apple Pro Res format. Maybe there's a setting in the AJA control panel that's wrong. Or in your Capture Settings inside FCP.

you might also need a firmware update to repair that.
