Tripod plate

Now that some people have bought the camera and with hands on reviews starting to pop up, can anybody confirm the HD100 uses the standard sony/panasonic tripod plate?

Hi Michael, it looks pretty standard to me, but have you browsed through my HD100 photo gallery? There are some pretty clear shots of it here and there.

Hey Chris, yes I had checked that out and it looks like a sony plate. But I was wondering if anybody who has the camera could confirm it. Thanks for the link.
