Lens wanted.

This is a fairly scarce one. I have a broken specimen of an Angenieux 16-44 16mm cine zoom missing one internal doublet. It had been serviced in SE Asia - badly repaired with UV optical cement joints full of halfmoons, foggy bonds and subsequently assessed as uneconomic to repair in Australia. That is how I ended up with it, saviour of things ruined, most times.

If anyone knows of one available, which has been dropped front-on or rear-on or is otherwise mutilated but has a chance of intact internal optical groups, I would appreciate the knowing.

If anyone knows of a munted Angenieux 10-150 16mm cine zoom, not a good one just one which has an intact iris, I would also like to know. There are some on eBay but are too good for cannabilising or too costly. If anyone knows if the iris assembly out of a 12-120 is the same, this advice would be appreciated. There are spare parts for the 10 x 150 including complete iris assemblies but getting the European vendor to sell them into Australia is another matter.

If anyone has any advice on how to cut and dress replacement iris blades this knowledge would be appreciated. I still have the pivot pins from the broken parts. The iris failed due to lube contamination from somewhere. - Should have checked after a long stowage instead of just using.
