AG-DV1000 Fan Noise at DVinfo.net

For those of you who own and use a AG-DV1000 VTR for editing, do you find that the fan is somewhat noisy? I wonder if my fan motor is failing or something although the unit is practically brand new...

I didn’t think it was much louder than some expensive Sony’s I’ve used. How does it effect your editing?

Doesn't affect editing at all, was just making sure I didn't have a faulty unit. Truthfully, I can't hear it over the air conditioning but I wanted to make sure the fan motor or anything else inside wasn't about to fail. So far so good.
