DVX100 problem...
Hi there..
I know the DVX is getting on a bit, but i'm using one and have run into a bit of trouble. When i turned it on today, the error 'Auto Off - Cylinder Lock' came up. Now, i know this is telling me it has cut the power to the tape transport for some reason, but i don't know why. Does anyone know a fix for this? It hasn't been dropped and resetting it doesn't make any difference. I've tried getting hold of a service manual but no luck so far.. If no one has any tips on how to fix this, can anyone recommend a trustworthy repair place around here? I'm in Herts UK. Thanks - I hope you're all having a good Xmas. S |

That's definitely something you'll want to send in for repair. Check the back of your user's manual for some recommended repair centers in your area.
