Fast 25 mm Prime for GH3 Recs?
I'm looking for a fast 25 mm prime for my GH3. I would consider a short zoom that covers the 25 mm focal length (18 to 50, maybe) but really want fast rather than zoom.
Suggestions? D |

Good news, a zoom lens that is as fast (or faster) than some primes: Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8

If you want a system prime lens with autoiris and autofocus, the $529 Panasonic 25mm f1.4 is a fabulous lens. Cheers, Bill |

The Panasonic 20mm F/1.7 is small fast & cheap as long as you don't care too much about manual focusing as because if the pancake design it is very fiddly.

Nokton Voigtlander 25mm without a doubt is the best lens I've ever had. Transforms GH2 or GH3 into a whole different beast providing you're comfortable manual focussing. It is also a pretty handy macro lens.
Is f0.95 fast enough for you?! Cheers, Mark

Got the Nokton Voigtlander 17.5mm - hardly using anything else anymore. The best lens I have ever had. |

All excellent feedback here. Panasonic / Lumix 12-35 is F2.8 continuous. That is, it doesn't close down when you zoom in. It also has image stabilization. If you get the 35-100 as well they both have 58mm threads in the front, so you only need one set of filters.

Samyang 24mm, F/1.4 hardly ever comes off my GH3. With the metabones speedbooster, it becomes a 17mm F/1.0.
