HVX-200 Tape Door stuck at DVinfo.net

Hello. One of our HVX-200s has a jammed tape door. It only opens up a sliver and I don't want to force it open. There's no tape in it.

I thought I'd ask for help here before sending it off to Panasonic.
Has anyone here had this problem? Is there a DIY solution?

Hard to say- could be a number of reasons. Hopefully it's still under warranty. Definitely leave it to a professional. That or shoot only P2. :)
