"Herpes Boy" - feature shot on Red
Benjamin Kantor Benjamin Kantor is offline May 17th, 2009, 01:09 PM

You can view the trailer at YouTube - Herpes Boy - FEATURE FILM TRAILER (HQ and HD view modes also available).

The feature was shot on the Red, except for the "webcam" profiles which were shot on the consumer Vixia HF10 and treated in post. It's currently at the very beginning of a festival tour (post-production was only completed a week ago).

I also wrote an article about my difficulties color timing the film in FCP Color, and am also working on writing up something about my experiences with the camera as a whole. You can find that at bkantor.blogspot.com

What festivals will be showing it? Looks like a fun flick.

Haha pretty good. The main character has a Michael Cera thing going. The video quality looks great too.
