Dirty On Purpose
Hey everybody!
Here's my latest music video for Brooklyns own Dirty On Purpose. Their EP "Sleep Late for a Better Tomorrow" is currently #3 on most collage radio playlists. Direct link on the back end of the bands site, its in the Music section too: http://www.dirtyonpurpose.com/video/MB_Edit_Final2.mov Hope you enjoy it! |

Great video! Looked really good. Simple yet effective. I liked the tune as well. Jake, since you are in New York City, can I add a shameless plug for the band BennyGirl. My nephew, Matthew Milton is their bass guitarist. They are supposedly close to getting a record deal. I will send them your name if they need a music video.

Looked very nice!

Very cool song... and very good work on the video.
Simple, but very effective in creating emotions... Nice work. |
Thanks Brent! Much appreciated. We all worked pretty hard on it so its great to hear that people like it. Thanks!

Jake,
Was wondering what camera package you shot this with. -gb- |
George Su, who comented above, was th DP. It was the DVX 100a, but he has some crazy settings he uses based on a great deal of experience using that camera. We primarily used one omni light and a diva light and a smoke machine that we used to get some diffusion and ambience in the light.
George, care to give Greg some details? |
Thanks Jake. I wasn't looking for a lot of details, just what camera shot the footage.
-gb- |
we shot on toilet paper. TeePeeCam 3000!
|
So that's your secret? Damn, I always wondered what you were doing when you spent all that time tweeking the settings and now it all makes sense! I just looked it up in users manual and low and behold it says it right there, "teepee cam 3000 settings rule dude!"
|
So, how many minutes of shooting can you get on a standard roll of toilet paper. Any special handling requirements when loading/unloading the camera?
Ok, this is going downhill fast, we better get back on topic. -gb- |
Okay George, now that we've succsessfully gotten totally silly, would you please grace us with your infinate knowlage of DVX100a camera settings?
