Wow this is great stuff!
Bill & Brian, thanks very much for your detailed descriptions on how you set up your white balance. I definately have a better idea now of what i should get out & try. Looks like tomorrow night i'll have to get out & practice a bit. Bill, i am glad you mentioned checking white balance on the lcd screen as i have been doing that quite a bit only i have been first auto white balancing to see what temp light that gives me to get an idea, then adjusting the white balance manually to get it to look the same in the lcd as what i am seeing with my own eyes. This is of course when i haven't had the time to set the white balance properly with a card. Normally when i have just seen something i want to shoot like a kangaroo or bird that i know won't hang around for long.

There's never enough hours in the day!
