HDV to Beta Cam SP

I shoot with a JVC HD100. Using Vegas 6 and cineform, what is good work flow to a finished product in Beta cam SP for SD broadcast.

If you take the analog out off a DSR-11, you should watch out for the 7.5 IRE setup issue.

Would printing to tape back to the camera and then camera to beta deck provide the same result?

How do you like the results? Is the finished product comparable to footage that originates in beta?

we dump back to HDV and SD miniDV tapes from cineform then send off to captioning (NCI) and they act as our dub house to both Beta SP and Panasonic DVC PRO HD tapes. We just got back first HD masters and they look freeeeking amazing! Final tests will be this Sunday night when they air...fingers crossed!
