Vegas functionaly lost. Please help.

The generated media editor used to have a timeline below it. t was possible to insert points on the timeline so as to make media move any way you want. I must have done something wrong, but cannot figure out what it was. The timeline is gone.

Following is a screenshot of what is needed.

I am desperate. Cannot work until this problem is solved.

Hi Larry,

Hopefully it's this is the problem...but I think all you have to do is move your mouse to the bottom of the window and when it changes from an arrow to to horizontal lines then hold down on the left mouse to drag the time line up.

This is a very common issue. That area is resizable. Sometimes it gets resized to "nothing". It's just a matter of bringing it back into view as you discovered.
