Black frames with Vegas 8.1 (64bit) at DVinfo.net

Does anyone know of a fix or of the cause of black frames with Vegas 8.1?

While 8.1 is of limited potential use to me because of my dependence of Ultimate S and Magic Bullet, I would still like to use it occasionally when I don't need those plug-ins.

This black frames issue occured on my previous dell workstation and has occured on my new DIY build as well. This is strange to me because I haven't see others complaining about this. If the issue is relatively rare I cannot understand why it has occured on two differenct PCs for me.

Anyone have any thoughts?
