annoying number keeps blocking mouse pointer SV8

this just started a day or two a ago. This long number floats just under my mouse pointer and follows it everywhere.. it will prevent the mouse from clicking on the thingy I want to click on..clips, play, pause, whatever..

what the hell is this and how do I get rid of it?

thanks for any help!

You are considered to be an enemy of the state and the number you refer to is the tracking number the government uses to keep tabs on you. It is supposed to be hidden.

Seriously, though, that is an unusual thing you've got going on.

Uninstall the drivers for your mouse (in device manager) then shut down using your power button and restart.

I have no idea if that would help, but that's what I would do.

you need to re-wrap the tin foil around your head then do as Jeff suggested. I've NEVER EVER seen that before in my years with Vegas, but then I keep my tinfoli wrapped very very tight.
Sorry 'bout joking but it's Sunday and I'm really tired AND I really haven't seen this before.
I DO hope you get it squared away.
