Thread titles
This is not a problem but just curiosity. I have noticed that some postings have their thread titles displayed in bold lettering and I am wondering how this is done. I can't find any way of selecting the font or boldness or underlining.

Sorry Leslie but I'm no wiser. I think I've searched every inch of this site and can't find any reference to how to alter the style of thread titles. Indeed when I type in capitals they are printed on the post as small case.

Personally, I always start reading the oldest thread with unread messages and work my way up to the newest messages. And if there are many and I forget which thread I have finished reading (happens at my age), I just hit F5 to reload the list of the threads so I can see which thread to read next. |

The threads that have messages that you haven't read are highlighted using bold lettering. In theory the system remembers what you've read and if there's anything new in a thread it highlights the thread title. I say in theory, because it doesn't always work the way it should.
