Movie Studio and Canon A1 24F at DVinfo.net

Just a quick question as to whether the Movie Studio Platinum version of Vegas will allow capture and editing of 24F video from an A1. I know Vegas 7 says it will do 24P. And Movie Studio Platinum says it will edit HDV. But I am not sure that I need the $500 version for the video editing I am planning to do. I have shot most of my video using 24F because I like the effect. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I tried doing a search for movie studio and 24 and did not see an answer to this.
