BW scene with 1 color intact.

I want to convert a clip to black and white but have 1 color (red) show in color.
I've been playing with the chroma keyer but no luck yet.

I've searched but cant' find the tutorial again. I know I've seen it somewhere (VASST?)

Thanks.

Try Edward Troxel's newsletters.
Vol. 1 #11 - Doing a Color Pass
Vol. 2 #10 - Color Pass Reprised - Passing Multiple Colors

Be advised that these are direct links to the PDF newsletters so you might want to do a right-click - save as on them.

Thank Edward. He's the (very generous) guy who wrote them and is sharing them with us.
BTW, I recommend grabbing all of his newsletters as they're an excellent Vegas resource.

Vol 2 #10 is the one you really want to look at. The first paragraph explains how to do a single color. The rest of the article explains how to do multiple colors.
