insta360 review?
I have seen some pretty good reviews of the insta360 air (the one that goes on the smart phone). But whenever I see youtube video of it, it is very blurry and doesn't look good at all. Is that youtube or the insta360?

Re: insta360 review?
Could be YT...I've noticed there are times when connecting to a 360 video on YT, the "Auto" quality setting goes to the lowest quality setting for some reason, even with a solid speedy wifi connection. Try changing it from Auto to HD or 4K...does it clear it up?

Re: insta360 review?
I haven't purchased one yet, and the reason I am hesitating is low quality video - I wasn't sure if it was youtube or the insta360 :
Here is an example. Maybe this quality is normal, but I am new to this, so I am asking. |

Re: insta360 review?
insta360 has top quality products, but if you take the low end, you will not get better than the other low end products.
if you are looking for quality, the minimum is 4k, like the insta360 4k. And now the insta360 8k pro is out, the is nothing better on the market. facebook, gopro, google, nokia, 360 cameras are all over 15.000$ and most require complex post production work. The insta360 pro gives you all for 3200$ + realtime stiching + streaming. If you want to play for cheap, take a low end "4k" 360 camera like the samsung or the insta360 but that's nothing that will give statifaction past the "wow , i can make it" effect. |

Re: insta360 review?
At NAB last week, my friend Steve Martin of Ripple Training showed me his Insta360 One and I thought it was pretty impressive (at least, when looking at clips played back on an iPhone). The Insta360 Pro intrigues me but it's currently out of my budget. The Insta360 One definitely has my immediate interest though.

Re: insta360 review?
I have been using a Insta360 Pro for awhile now. Overall it is a good system with excellent support and regular firmware updates. Most of the bugs have been ironed out now!
Cheers Rob
