i download your anaglyph .mov file, and congrat. for your setup!
Unfortunatelly your stereo window isn't set properly in few scene.
Be careful: if you want a pop-out effect, dont make it with object that can reach your monitor edge. Place this object in the monitor plane and everything behind this.

Quicktime is good for regular 2D-HD movie, but IMHO not good for anaglyph, because it compress color very strange, and kill the 3d effect.
Try using side-by-side or over-under format, and play it with stereoscopic player! It can play your file in anaglyph format realtime, and doesn't compress colors!

I like the dock the best...pulled out my old anaglyphs from http://www.ddd.com They were free way back when. Can't wait to see some video from your rig to see how the synch holds up.

Tim: i don't used the AE 3D plugin, but it's cyan looks curious for me.
Please try the free stereo video maker, and test whats better for you.

how to focus and zoom? is it safe to remove the servo motor?

I think if u build ur own matte box instead using the JVC default may help to get 2 cameras closer - just a tip i use old DVD box to build matte box for free.

I have some questions
1/do u have to focus on a and b camera indvidiually? or u build a relay to do simu-focusing?

2/ zoom - ditto

3/ is it safe to remove the servo motor?? how?

4/ if i use HD250 is it ok to match with my old HD101E?

Fascinating images. Very impressive!
I was wondering..... is it just me, or do many of the pictures look like several layers of flat images (for instance: the 1st picture, with several trees in a grassy park, and a truck in the distance). Of course, the picture of the surface of the water stretching from the camera out into the distance, looks continuous. But some of the other pictures look like 2D objects arranged in a 3D space. Maybe it's a side-effect of digitally-limited resolution... or maybe it's just me. 8-)

Check sync drift
 

The clapper board will ensure inter-frame sync. However, there is still an intra-frame delay and possible clock drift.
These cameras still output a signal on the RCA cable. It should be possible to find something that we can connect 2x RCA cables to - the device would extract the sync pulse, either V-Sync or H-Sync. And then we can compare the pulses to calculate the sync drift..

Does anyone know of such a device ?

Lots of depth, yes, but also lots of mismatched verticals... especially sides, corners. Probably due to using convergence rather than parallel shooting.

What program did you use? I only know of after effects but that seems to color the entire image. I don't have premiere...
There are a couple of objects that are impossible to focus on:

Why is that? Any tips on shooting to avoid this? For example should the focus be on infinity, and how far is the ideal subject from the lens?
