Using Premiere as Waveform Monitor?
Hi Folks... don't know if this is the right forum or not... sure someone will move it otherwise...
I was thinking of using my Premiere as a waveform monitor during shooting, that seems pretty simple... but is there any way to have the composite and the waveform show at the same time. i.e. split screen views or something? I have looked everywhere for how to be able to see the comp, and it's equivalent waveform, everywhere to no avail. Lastly, is there something a little easier to use for laptop integration for waveform monitoring? Premiere is a little cludgy. Your help is always appreciated! TMS |

Use OnLocation for that. It is part of the Production Premium CS3.

What a stupid question! SORRY!
I completely forgot about the other stuff in the suite... I am using a Mac, so I was kind of ignorning the windows only components... but for sure that makes sense! I have a PC laptop, and the world is a better place now.
Sorry for the newbie brain hiccup. TMS |
