how to join separate projects? at DVinfo.net

I've read on this forum that a good way to deal with a large film is to edit it in separate projects, and put everything together for the final product. How would one go about doing this? Is there a way to join projects for a burn?

Import all the seperate projects into a new project. Put all the timelines into a final timeline and export.
