tv monitor/hdv questions
Hi,
I am using a trial version of Cs3 as of tonight. I want to buy but have a few questions. 1. Must I run through a camera or deck to get PROGRAM out to a tv monitor? If my video card is capable of handling 2 displays, will a simple s-video cable do the trick? And, will Premiere Pro Cs3 automatically place PROGRAM video in the monitor or are there settings I must adjust to accomodate this? 2. HDV is not an option for both playback and capture when creating a project. Is this because I am running the trial version? Thanks all! Jay |

Hi,
Not sure about your Q1... Q2 - the PPRO CS3 trial didn't allow HDV (m2t) editing... so it sounds like the Trial has the same limitations. Get around that by downloading a trial of Cineform's Aspect HD, convert your footage into CFHD avi's, and edit away happily! Cheers, Doug. |
