Need help connecting broadcast monitor
This is my first time dealing with a broadcast monitor and its very frustrating. I have filmed in hdv and down converted from the camera (Z1) into a standard dv 48 kHz timeline. Now I have my camera connected to my computer via firewire and my monitor (sony PVM-14L1) connected to my camera via s video. With my camera set to dv/av I thought it would just play with the timeline but it doesn't. What am I doing wrong?
also when capturing video was going through the monitor. |

Did you select your DV cam as output monitor in the playback settings?
