PPro 2.0 crashing problem.
"Error Exporting : Unkown error, Cannot export". What the hell? I reformatted my computer, and installed a new video card, and now I cna`t export? I tried exporting through Debugmode Frameserver to Tmpgenc...but anytime I try to change the Quicktime compressor Tmpgenc crashes as well with no info on why. What can I do to try and solve this issue?

Try rebooting, restarting premiere, copying all clips from one timeline into another new timeline, and then export.
It's fixed that evil unknown error many times for me. On another note, I've never seen that error with Cineform, but I deal with 95% HDV, and I don't know the specifics of your workflow. :) CM |

For what it's worth, if Carl's suggestion doesn't fix the problem, PPro has Unknown Error messages to spare. None of them have any explanations...anywhere. I have found that newly downloaded software can be the culprit. If you have any, remove it and see what happens.
Also, you said that you reformatted your computer. I'm not sure what that means, but if you did something to cause Premiere to lose track of a file or command that it was previously using, this is just the sort of error you would get. |
