Question about two similar timelines in Encore
Ok, I've got a client who wants their wedding DVD with the full ceremony (e.g. 2hrs in total), and also one with the ceremony reduced to just the vows (e.g. 1.5hrs in total)...
instead of making 2 dvds (or dual disc) and rendering out twice, i'm guessing there's a way round this in Encore to keep it all on 1 DVD? so in other words, can i have the full ceremony as button 1, and the same on button 2 but instead it 'skips'(?) a chapter/selection?? (i've seen shop-bought DVDs have 2 versions of the same film on 1 DVD, e.g. one without swearing) cheers in advance |

You need to set up timeline markers for all the clips then follow the tips here
http://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Enco...db29-7f84.html I am not sure if 2 hours will fit on the DVD at full resolution. You may have to dumb down the quality settings a bit or invest in some Dual-Layer discs. For the copies that you give to the couple you might want to try the Gold Discs as those are supposed to last 100+ years. Cheers!
