sharing between ppro 1.5 and p cs3

I have 3 computers networked togehter through a gigabite switch. I am trying to share a project made in cs3 with a computer with ppro 1.5. The ppro 1.5 computer wont accept the project as it says it cant read it. Do I need an intermediate codec as I would like to share uncompressed files.

It's not the files, it's the project. 1.5.1 can't read a CS3 project no matter what. You can bring a 1.5.1 project into CS3 but it's a one-way trip.

what about exporting to a movie and then bringing that into 1.5. And what would be an uncompressed format or codec?

I suppose you could do that, but again you'd be sharing files and not the project. Are you doing HDV or regular DV? You could uncompress to something like Cineform HD-AVI if you had Aspect or Prospect installed with both systems, I think. Otherwise, 1.5.1 automatically uses Cineform, but CS3 edits HDV m2t files natively if you're not using Cineform. And 1.5.1 doesn't do m2t. If you're just doing SD DV-AVI you should already be able to share the media files, but again, not the project.

Thanks Adam. This project is sd avi and yes I can share just the raw file. I cut the footage from @ an hour to around 20min. so I wanted to share the 20 min of footage but I guess it is a project at that point so like you say its a no go. I called cineform and am waiting for a call back to see what they have to offer. I have prospect on one computer although its not one of the computers I am trying to share with. I was hoping for maby an intermediate codec solution that was cheap and uncompressed as I cant afford prospect for all four computers. And I dont know if that would work anyway. Thanks again TAG
