Flash playback problems
Bought a new laptop ans Installed CS3 master suite. Playing around I have exported through the adobe encoder a flash video ( less that a minute long for test)
Adobe renders it out, but I cannot get it to open. I have the full suite so one would think there is a flash player somewhere in there. I have gone to the website and downloaded the free player, but I cannot get the file to play. Always comes up with the same message that windows cannot find an application to open the file. Went in manually and hit "open with" and chose the free flash player which is macromedia Flash 9 Nothing. Even tried opening the player and dragging the file in. Nothing happens. I can render in Windows media player and quicktime no problem Seems I always have this happen with Flash, but this time I refuse to give up HELP Oh yeah- properties says its a .flv file |

You'll need to get a free player somewhere. I think the one I downloaded was called FLV player. It seems to work OK, but I don't really do any work in Flash. |

Thats what I suspected Tripp. I have downloaded the free player from the Adobe site....and flash 9 macromedia player but I cant get the two to link up.
Your are right, I thought flash would work just like FCP and Quicktime |
