in premiere cs5, photo looks weird in source monitor?
some photos when opened in premiere pro cs5 in the source monitor they look weird. any ideas on what could cause this? i have a screen shot attached

What happens when you convert the photo to a PNG and import that?

Shot in the dark, here, but I see you have a .tif...there's all kinds of tifs. Maybe the coding or compression on the sample you have isn't compatable with the program somehow....I'm attaching the tif setup panel from a Photoshop image to give you an idea....so maybe opening it in Photoshop and saving as another flavor of tif or better, as a PNG as Adam suggests, might help.
