Switching from Sony Vegas to CS 5.5
Just ordered a turnkey video editing PC with CS 5.5 loaded and tested.
Any tips on making the software switch from Vegas easier ? Hardware is not an issue since it is a brand new turnkey system.

CIAB.
Classroom in a book will help you get up to speed. Turnkey system means nothing by itself. It could mean great or lousy, depending on the 'turnkey' supplier. |

I went with ADK. They seem pretty knowledgable. Dont necessarily need the best system. Just something solid, reliable and good value for my money. Went with an Intel I7 2600k overclocked processor, 16gb ram, Nvidia GTX570 video card, Western Digital 1 terabyte operating system drive, 2 Western Digital 1 terabyte drives raid0 for media, 2 Western Digital 1 terabyte drives raid0 for renders.

ADK is a great company and Eric is a very knowledgeable guy, who gives great support if you ever need it. You will have a very nice system.
