exporting in quicktime

I have premiere 1.5.1 and i've always successfully exported in various formats but i'm having problems exporting in .mov format. Can you please describe indetails what settings I should select, and where, etc.

I'm always having files come out to less than 1kb after 15 min of rendering. And other times, they are huge, around 300mb for just a 1;30 min work area.
I'm hoping the settings will make it around 20mb for web vieweing. Can someone describe what settings I should pick to attain my goal.

thanks

MOV, like AVI, is really a multi-purpose container. Within the container, you can specify a wide variety of codecs. When doing an Export/Movie in Premiere, under Settings, on the General tab, you need to set the File Type to QuickTime. On the video tab, select a "compressor". The best quality is obviously None (uncompressed), the same as an uncompressed AVI, but the file sizes will be very large. Sorenson Video 3 seems to be a popular choice for the web these days. The Quality and Data Rate controls will combine to control the size of the file. It will take some experimenting.
