Support for v1.2
Can Serious Magic please give some advice on how long you will continue to support previous versions of DV-Rack now that there is a new version available?
Also, after the upgrade period expires (Oct 10th?), will there be NO upgrade price at all, or will the upgrade price just be going up? Thanks. Ian . . . |

We are continuing to offer upgrades to 1.x customers, but the special pricing has ended.

Hi Karl,
How about the support question? For how long will you be offering support on v1.x? Thanks, Ian |

Serious Magic has always continued support for all versions of our software. I wouldn't expect to see any new 1.x patches anytime soon, but if you need help with the program, you can always call or e-mail us. We don't turn customers away because they have the older version.

That's good to know Karl, thanks. I'm sure we've all been 'victims' of software companies' cessation of support on older versions and it's nice to see that you'll contuniue to support customers who do not choose to upgrade.
When you say "any time soon" I'm kinda hearing "any time"!! Do you have a UK support organisation? Calls to the US are kinda steep. How about a Skype contact? Thanks again. Ian . . . |
