Bars and tone - are they correct?
I am reading that in older versions of Premiere the SMPTE bars and tone were not correct - has Adobe fixed this problem in PPRO 1.5 and 2.0?
Is it adjusting my PC monitor using the built-in bars the best way to adjust it? Can I use a DVD with SMPTE bars burned from PPRO to adjust my TV? Thanks, |

Just trying to do the most I can
I know I should not worry much about the PC monitor and concentrate on calibrating an external video monitor - but with my current setup I don't have one. So I am trying to do the best I can with whatever I have at the moment... The question is, can I do anything on my PC to make sure my levels are going to be fine on the final product, which is at the moment standard def DVD? Or is tryal and error the only way I can test?... I am sure there is a reason Premiere included them in there...
Thanks, |
