Simple question: Which is better to you? Audition or GoldWave?

If those are my only choices, I'd take Audition/Soundbooth

Goldwave has a really effective noise reduction process. The user interface looks like it was developed back in the days of DOS though. They have a free trial with very generous terms. Check it out.
