Dead Giant Squids

I just ordered two Giant Squids for my two H2 Zooms. The Zooms work fine, but neither the squids don't respond with either H2 even with mic levels up. I also tried the sound recorder on my laptop. Neither mic worked. It seems unlikely to have two new mics not work.

Thoughts?

Did you enable phantom power on the H2?

If you got the Giant Squid configured for the IRivers, their plugs are wired different than a standard mic because the IRiver plug is wired backwards.

Les -- brilliant!

I had assumed that was an automatic setting, but found what you were talking about. The wedding is saved! Thanks bro!
