Not Responding (computer v Zoom H4)
I continue to get a 'not responding' message in the windows task manager when I attempt to open folders/files on the H4. After a minute or so, it will open the file, respond to a 'right click' or open up in Audition and go into a status of 'running' in the task manager. Very time consuming and I'm baffled as to why.
I have disabled my recently install anti-virus software, but to no avail. The computer will not 'restore' to a previous date. It goes through the motions but ends up saying 'incomplete'. Anyone have any ideas?

H4
I have the H4 and I typically just remove the SD card and then plug it into a card reader attached to a USB port on my computer. I've never had any problem that way.

The H4's USB 1.0 port is slow as hell. A card reader like Peter's will connect at the MUCH faster USB 2.0 speed.

I'll have to get a card reader for my computer. In the meantime I'll just unload to my 'non video' computer and transfer via removable drive.
Thanks
